Do you know about the Sawyer Trail in the Dewey Woods in Sunapee, NH?

Known as the Rogers Farm, this parcel was deeded to the Town of Sunapee in 1928. The Town is obligated by deed to “hold, use and manage the said premises for the public use and benefit as a public park and forest reserve forever.” The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (SPNHF) holds a back-up interest in the property to monitor the Town’s activities.

Located off Rte. 11, between Jobs Creek and Granliden Roads, with the entrance just before the ball field (on the left, coming from New London). Parking is available. The Sawyer Trail is a 12-step interpretive walk through the woods. A brochure providing more information can be found at: The Sawyer Trail
