The Fells in Newbury, NH is offering an Art in Nature Children Series - Children ages 6-11 sculpt & paint the Animals of The Fells Monday-Thursday, August 6-9, 9am-12:30pm. They will use a variety of materials and receive inspiration from art exhibited at The Fells; observations of animals on the grounds; animal specimens; and other resources such as field guides and art books. Led by Rhode Island School of Design-trained artist and child educator, Lawre Goodnow. www.thefells.org

The Library Arts Center in Newport, NH is offering exciting classes beginning August 7:  Nine-Patch Quilt Magic, Watercolor Painting, Wine Cork Dolls and other fun and different activities.

The New London Barn Playhouse in New London, NH continues with their Children's Theater Series with the upcoming performance of Beauty and the Beast on August 16 and 18 at 11am and 2pm.
